MGCNL’s VBS Returns After 5 Years
For the first time in five years, MGC New Life Christian Academy (MGCNLCA) proudly brings back Vacation Bible School (VBS) this June 3-7 from 8-11 A.M.
VBS is a one-week-long summer experience for children ages two and a half years old to Grade 6. Its mission is to reach out to young children through lessons, games, crafts, and other activities to have fun while getting to know Christ better and learn more about God’s word.
With the theme “Wild Life,” MGCNL’s VBS aims to help children understand His word, applying their learnings to their lives, and encouraging them to share the word with their family and friends as well.
“VBS is not just a school activity, but a way for us teachers and students to minister to the young children, and not only to the young kids but also their family members. So, I hope that everyone will participate and do their best as we do the VBS 2024,” said VBS Director Karen Fulgencio.
Aside from Fulgencio, teachers, alumni, and high-school student volunteers will also help out in the week-long VBS.
“The kids are really looking forward to it, and [as] part of the committee who will be spearheading the event, it [will be] a lot of fun for me,” shared first-time teacher volunteer, Mark Noel Graida.
