Ziontopia and Berea Blazers “Stand Firm” as Overall Champions in the 21st Ichthus Intrams
The Grade 12 Ziontopians and Grade 8 Berea Blazers “stood firm” as they were crowned the overall victors of their divisions at MGC New Life Christian Academy’s 21st Ichthus Intramural Games, scoring 132 and 118 points, respectively, throughout the week-long event held from November 19 to 22, 2024.
In the Junior Division, the Damascus Doves closely followed the Berea Blazers with 117 points, while the Nazareth Knights came in third place with 95 points.
The Senior Division saw the Olivipers secure their position at second place with a total of 101 points, and the Patmospheres at third place with 97 points.
After a week of competitive sports between batches, the event concluded with a vibrant closing ceremony on November 25, featuring the batch dance competition, during which Grades 7 to 11 students showcased their talents and batch unity through dance.
The Olivipers were awarded the title of Batch Dance Champions, as they obtained a score of 91 points. First-timers Nazareth Knights emerged as the second placers, with a score of 85 points. The Damascus Doves also made their way onto the podium at third place with a final score of 82 points.
