MGCNL Table Tennis Team Brings Six Players to the Upcoming NCR Meet

Six players from the MGCNLCA Table Tennis team will be going to the NCR Regional Meet after winning in seven categories in this year's Taguig-Pateros Division Meet held at the Makati Science High School last March 10. These players are Caden Ching, Reese Hang, Rhian Hang, Anica So, Kyra Ang, and Uzziel Cawaon.

“[I’m] proud to see the results and that all the players did their best, but we must all still strive to win more in the following years," said head coach Ting Ledesma in a debriefing with the team.

The team swept the competition, with Ching and Lance Ngo garnering second and third place respectively in the Secondary Boys’ Singles.

Meanwhile, sisters Reese Hang and Rhian Hang won first and second place in the Secondary Girls’ Singles division, respectively.

The pair of Vaughn Cawaon and Jayden Chan also won silver in the Secondary Boys’ Doubles.

The New Lifers also dominated the Elementary Girls' division, with Uzziel Cawaon and Ang being awarded champions of the Elementary Girls' Doubles.

The Elementary Boys’ Doubles duo of Jeremiah Key and Seth So emerged with a second-place win and showed remarkable skill and prowess.

Anica So and Moira Cordova won silver and bronze, respectively, in the Elementary Girls’ Singles.

Ledesma reminded the players who qualified for the NCR Meet to continue to train diligently and prepare for the event so that they increase their chances of  winning and moving up to the Palarong Pambansa.

Caden Lewis R. Ching

I am Caden Ching, a 15-year-old kid who just wants to enjoy his high school life. I love to watch anime, read manga, manhwa, and manhua, and play table tennis and volleyball. I have a very energetic brother who will be attending MGCNLCA for the upcoming school year, and I am looking forward to it. I really hate bugs, and something weird is that I am still not sure what my pet peeve is after so many years of wondering.
