New Lifers Bring Home Awards from the 9th DLSMUN

MGCNL delegates received recognition during the recent 9th De La Salle Model United Nations (DLSMUN) conference held on-site and online from July 28 to 29, 2023.

Incoming eleventh grader Jana Dy was given the Outstanding Position Paper Award as the delegate of the Republic of  Korea to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees. Patmos student Bianca Sy, representing Australia, also received an Honorable Mention in the same committee.

Meanwhile, Olive student Dana Chiong was awarded Honorable Mention as the delegate of Turkiye in the Group of 20.

As the delegate of Sudan, Cailey Tin of Berea joined the conference online and garnered an Honorable Mention award as well in the United Nations Human Rights Committee.
