S.Y. 2025-2026 Starts Mid-July With 10% Tuition Increase

Just like last year, MGC New Life Christian Academy (MGCNLCA) will be implementing a 10% tuition fee increase for the next school year.

School Director Helen Villanueva made this announcement during the parents’ consultation held in the auditorium last February 21. She explained that the increased tuition fee would be allocated for the improvement of the children’s overall learning experience while also covering the school’s operational expenses.

Villanueva also announced that the school opening for S.Y. 2025-2026 will be on July 14, 2025 for Junior High and Senior High School students, while the Early Years and Primary Years students will start classes on July 15. This is roughly two weeks earlier than the start of classes for S.Y. 2024-2025, since MGCNLCA is slowly shifting the start of classes to early July in compliance with the pronouncement of the Department of Education (DepEd).

Alongside this, the school director gave an update on the expansion of MGCNLCA to the south, with the future Alabang campus set to open in 2027. Villanueva will serve as the principal of the Alabang campus while continuing her role as the overall school director, with School Principal Evangeline Co as the principal of the Bonifacio Global City campus. Villanueva reassured the community that while the expansion will provide more families access to MGCNLCA’s transformative educational programs, the school’s commitment to delivering excellent quality education remains unchanged.

The school director also held a parenting seminar at the start of the program, where she shared poems, stories, and personal experiences that deeply resonated with the parents.

Kimberly Perez, a Grade 3 parent, expressed her appreciation for the parenting seminar. “Parents need to prioritize quality time with their children to strengthen emotional bonds. […] All our children want is our time, they want to be seen, heard, and valued. The most important path we can carve for them is a path towards God and spiritual growth.”

Aside from updating the school community, the parents’ consultation was also held in compliance with the requirements of the DepEd.
